I don't store any information except if someone clicks thru the figuredrawings.com website to the figure-drawings.com website and purchases an ebook, I keep track of the confirming email and email address if the person has left one so that I can reply to questions about the download process.
Some of this information is also stored at the Paypal or Google checkout clearinghouse. I have no record of the method of payment. I have no record of credit card numbers used for those payments.
If someone orders a drawing I keep a record of the email contact in case there are any questions and so I can send a sample drawing.
There is an option to sign up for a newsletter. the newsletter is managed by cafepress.com. They maintain the list of email addresses and I have no record of those email addresses.
The information on email addresses I do have I do not share with anyone, and I do not send out email announcements except in the rare cases where I have updated ebooks and offered free downloads of the new editions to previous purchasers.
